Piha is full of great walks with stunning views, or if you’re game a climb to the top of Lion Rock to see the sharks below. Piha cafe is the best place for a drink afterwards, coffee or a wine if it’s the right time. Yum food too

One of my favourite breakfast spots… JP does an amazing hollandaise. but I’d get in quick as open hours are less over winter.

Enjoy your coffee with a little Lion Rock on the side. The Piha Café is a great spot to kick back and enjoy the sun - perfect for when you want beach vibes and your eggs and paper too.

Great location and view. This is a superb location and cool rustic cafe that truly fits the seating.  Good quality food and service

Great food and service, and the coffee is tremendous.

We went out to Piha for a day trip with some friends and had a thoroughly enjoyable day. A walk along the beach, a paddle in the stream (well the kids did) followed by a lovely lunch at The Piha Cafe. The food was tasty, the portions generous and the coffee good. We sat outside next to the kid's play area and managed to enjoy adult company while the kids played happily right next to us. The staff were friendly and the decor and atmosphere fit the location.

i love this place- fast efficient service and only a few minutes walk from the beach. great range of coffee and drinks, as well as hot food and other nibbles. staff are great and always ready to give local advice around the area

this place is just a few mintues walk from the beach, and offers a substantial lunch or meal. i came here over summer every day that i was out at piha. the food is great with fresh ingredients. Only downside was the meal was quite expensive and took a long time to heat up and be brought out. overall, great cafe

prime location! quite expensive but great sausage rolls

On arriving at this cafe,  all the tables inside were full which turned out to be great, because as the adults chilled, ate their lunch and looked at the fabulous views,  both of the waves crashing against the rocks at the beach and back into the waitakeres,  the kids played in the kid pen just next to our table.  Always good to have a place where they can entertain themselves, here they have a large area with a slide a mound of dirt and plenty of toy cars which worked a treat. We ordered a mixture of soups and pizzas and a burger.  The pizzas were great as we're the soups though one was a little cool,  the burger was a big chunky piece of beef,  but the guy who ate it said he probably wouldn't order it again. Coffees were good and we ordered seconds with cakes to accompany,  which were also good.
