Great musicians all the time, a cool atmosphere, good outdoor area, friendly staff. Choice.

    My most favourite bar to visit weekly. The food is delicious as its made from love by the great chef, mouth watering drinks served with care by the beautiful bar staff and speechless atmosphere created by the incredibly talented musicians and friendly yet surprising locals and tourists. Would highly recommend PPH for any sociable occasion as it’s suitable for everyone, you’ll feel right at home with their vintage furniture and sunny porch out back.

      Visted the PPH on a short trip from Aus tried some awesome kiwi food and the live music and atmosphere was mean! can't recomend this place enough. Great night out in Auckland

        This space has always been super boring...until Portland Public House moved in - now it's the coolest bar in Kingsland! I LOVE the outdoor area at the back! The staff are awesome, the food is delicious (especially the smoked fish!), and the live music scene is rad! Whoever started this place up must be super cool.  PS. the female bartender with the purple hair is lovely - she's my favorite! :)
