Shopping rocks and so does the food

I love walking the wharf, grabbing a coffee and enjoying the views. Have tried many of the restaurants and love them all. It's a great place to hang out on a Sunday afternoon :)

It's clean and the shops follow a theme, When ya finished shopping with ya fellow it easy to get a milo, It's a great place to meet and then what's neat, You can eat the meat, Eat the peach then swim at the beach!

Great atmosphere and lots of variety

The waterfront playground is great for young folk. The harbour views and the sparkling water make for an enjoyable amble and there’s a dozen or so good bars or restaurants within shouting distance for when you need to recharge.

If you're new to Tauranga, a wander around the strand is a great place to get acquainted with this gorgeous city. You'll get a great sense of the Tauranga vibe from the people, eateries, bars and sight of boats in the water that make Tauranga such a great spot.

Perfect for a great night out or just wander the relaxed streets perusing the shops- this is the Mediterranean of the North Island.
