Tucked away down a cobble stoned alley off the main street, the Village Cafe is one of Kerikeri's best kept secrets. Serving Cafe L'affare coffee and a variety of homemade meals, there is seating on the mezzanine floor and in the sheltered courtyard area.

Always busy with locals and visitors enjoying their freshly prepared breakfast and lunch meals, they also sell an assortment of delicious cakes, sandwiches and baked goods.

With plenty of vegetarian, gluten free and free range options to choose from, ask the friendly team about catering for your next lunch meeting or morning tea.

Along with whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens The Village Cafe is among my favourite things! These guys really know how to make a good cup of coffee. They’re the perfect place to meet a friend if you don’t know if it will rain or shine. They have a cool, cosy loft for rainy days and a gorgeous European courtyard covered in a leafy grapevine on sunny days.
