Aquatic Centre is a fun place to bring kids, especially if you’re on budget. The wave pool was my favourite, every hour or so an alarm comes on to warn weak swimmers to get out of the pool, cause giant waves are on their way! The Tarzan rope is a crowd favourite as well, I spent hours taking turns with other kids on that and it was so much fun!
Classic family fun to be had here whether you’re into slip ‘n sliding, or spas ‘n saunas! The wave pool will have your little ones entertained for hours so you can kick back at the cafe (as long as they’re over eight years old), not to mention the hydro slides, Tarzan rope and a 32 degree toddlers pool with its own slide. Aces!
Every kid loves the thrill of a hydroslide. Whooshing down the darkened tubes from side to side before spilling out in a giggling mess is all part of the fun. The Todd Energy Aquatic Centre is also home to some of the best swim coaches in NZ. Organise some swim lessons during the school holidays to keep your kids safe around the water for your own piece of mind.

Todd Energy Aquatic Centre offers wave pool, super fast hydroslides, a sauna, spa, and gym. They also offer two baby pools and a family changing area which makes it easy for parents to keep tabs on the kids. They also offer a fantastic onsite cafe providing kids meals, hot food and icecreams. I would fully recommend Todd Energy Aquatic Centre for your next family afternoon out.
