Tom may be the man behind the name and face on the pizza boxes, but he's always there until 4am in the weekends. Not just for the stories but that is when they do most of their business. Because pizza by the slice is the perfect late night snack, it is perfectly portable on the stumble home but unlike the messy kebab or sloppy burger Tommy Millions pizza actually stacks up in the sober day time hours for a damn fine lunchtime snack. Even more so now that Tom also offers 2 for 1 Margarita pizzas during 12-4pm.

If its 4pm or 4am - these guys know exactly what I want - the green pizza - mushrooms - delicious. They have amazing gelato too. Also coffee - haven’t had one but I’m sure it would be good too.

Nothing beats the wind down of a great night out, more than a slice of hot tasty pizza. I have never been sure why pizza tastes that much better after a boozy night out. Whether it is your body getting confused because it has been awake nearly 24 hours, or the fact that you're still not sober enough to handle the cold walk home. A serving of one of these deliciously topped thin-crust pizzas will fill that belly, soak up the alcohol and warm you up; inside and out. For those extra cold nights I like to munch down on a slice of the Pepperoni. With its generous sprinkle of chili flakes it certainly gets the blood pumping.

I find myself stopping by Tommy Millions if I happen to be swanning about in the wee hours of the morning. Pizza is a fantastic option to have after a night out, and at Tommy Millions you can get them by single, gigantic, delicious slice. You'll probably find yourself getting more than one. There are options for vegetarians, and the staff are great.

We were in a rush last night for dinner so we grabbed a couple of slices of pizza from Tommy Millions. The service was fast and friendly and the pizza was tasty. The flavours were simple but the real star was the base, light and not too chewy.

Millions killing it again with the meatball sub!

Located in the old historic public toilets bang in the middle of the square on the corner of Courtenay Place and Taranaki Street, Tommy Millions makes Pizza, and sells it by the slice. There are no tables and only paper plates, which is why it’s really cheap. The lawyer-turned-passionate-pizzamaker also rolls up to the City market with his portable wood-fired pizza on Sundays.

Great pizza in an easy location!
