The treehouse is a classic family pub, one I was a local at as a child. The menu I like because it’s different from others, especially the kiddie options. Cheesey bacon tagliatelle pasta would have been my go-to meal years ago, so would the chicken sliders with a creamy slaw; delicious! They even have a little tackers plate with raisins, marshmallows, fresh fruit and fairy bread (or vegemite or peanut butter sandwiches), I haven’t seen this before but it’s such a good idea!

For many people I know (and me also) The Treehouse Restaurant & Bar is the place they like to come and relax, have a beer, and take a load off; especially now since the Rugby World Cup games will be screened here! They roll out the projector and have both TVs going for people sitting in every corner; talk about customer service! It wouldn’t hurt to grab a nice steak to keep your hunger at bay while the game is on!

The Treehouse is comfy, it feels like home, and is warm; especially if you grab the couch next to the fireplace! Whether the visit is for one of their many red wine selections or a steaming hot meal, I promise it won’t disappoint you in being one of the best restaurants to gather around in winter.

I have been going to the Treehouse since I was quite young; it’s been my dad’s favourite watering hole for years so I became friends with the places cat and everything. The menu changes every so often to keep customers on their toes and each time it gets better and better. One thing they have kept as a classic on the menu is their chicken, bacon and brie burger (which now I think is an open sandwich). It’s my go to meal when I’m feeling ravenous and need some carbs!

The Treehouse is a great place to go after work to watch a footy game with a few beers and some great mates. It has two sky decoders and two giant projector screens that are used whenever there is sport on; so all the time in the evenings! It also served gourmet meals from its kitchen of four chefs; my favourite is the chicken and bacon sandwich. It’s a very popular bar and restaurant, and has several weekly game nights, such as bingo on Tuesdays, quizzes on Wednesday and free Pool on Sunday nights.
