Whilst on a whirlwind tour of NZ, American couple Christie and Larry fell in love with the people and character of Nelson and decided this was the place they wanted to call home. After seeing a for sale sign on a beautiful Edwardian villa, they snapped it up and decided to open their little shop selling vintage and new clothing and collectables. The house is an attraction in itself with its colourful exterior and gorgeous gardens, and with separate little rooms and passageways crammed with hidden gems and one-off pieces, you are sure to find something for that special occasion!

This lovely emporium is located at the cathedral end of Nile street, so easy to miss if you don’t know it is there. Its a lovely place to shop for something special - clothing , jewellery and accessories. The stock includes both new and vintage pieces so there is always something different here. Great for ball gowns or mother-of-the-bride, but also worth checking out for something different tour every day wear.

    Go for a wander around the back of the Cathedral and you might discover this little gem. Tula and Niles is a clothing/jewellery/things you didn’t know you needed aladdin’s cave located in an old restored villa on Nile St. They sell vintage collectable clothing and jewellery, plus some new stuff as well. Always something different here - good place to shop for a stunning winter gown, maybe a faux fur coat or a gorgeous wrap to keep the chills at bay.
