Ujazi is a quirky cafe located in the heart of Napier's trendy Art Deco quarter. Offering a menu of tasty breakfast, brunch and lunch meals, there is also a cabinet packed with sandwiches, savouries and sweet treats.

With friendly staff and plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, seating is available downstairs, upstairs and outside by the street.

Start the day with their hearty Eggs Benedict with Bacon, warm up on a cold morning with their Roasted Kumara and Ginger Soup, or relax with a coffee and their delicious Banoffee Pie.

Bohemian Ujazi is vegan and vegetarian friendly and serves up tasty big plates and counter food. In fact they welcome anybody to their long line of sunny tables lining Tennyson Street.

    This iconic café serves up big plates and hearty soups with lots of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options from the changing blackboard menu and it’s a great spot in the sun roadside to enjoy a steaming bowl of hot soup and experience the Napier vibe. Imagine a roasted pumpkin and cumin seed with chilli, or a roasted kumara or ginger soup with coriander served with hot toast. Yum.

      Bohemian Ujazi café, does a nice creamy smooth chocolate and frothy milk along with nine other styles of coffee, including the harder to find Affogato. With an additional mini chocolate fish and marshmallows to go alongside it looks deliciously tempting and a pull for sweet toothed kids. Sip this on a hot day on one of the outside tables or take a pew upstairs on the mezzanine and let the heat of the kitchen warm you up.

        This groovy and popular café has the best spot on Tennyson Street to soak up the morning sun. You can always guarantee a good coffee and there’s plenty of counter food and an excellent brunch menu, with vegetarian options. Busy and buzzing.
