I am a massive Macs Hop Rocker fan a good pilsner is like finding a needle in a hay stack. I never pass up the chance for a pint of hop rocker for all you beer lovers this is your haven.

Located in the dead center of the Ellerslie community hub it’s history and tradition translates into every facet of the menu and drinks-list. With a great outdoor area and decor it’s definitely one for the bucket-list!

Great local pub to chill with friends in the hood

Came here with a group of friends to watch an All Blacks game. The place was packed but as we were able to reserve a table a few days in advance, we scored the best seats to watch the game. Really great vibe and the food is more of a sophisticated choice of pub food. The beer batted fries are yummy! Good times.

If you want a great beer in the sun, head to Union Post. They have days (Wednesday and Thursday from memory) where jugs of beer are discounted which makes it quite a cost-effective way to enjoy quality beer.

My Favourite beer is the good ole Macs Hop Rocker! It is your beautiful citrus aromad pilsner that with NZ hops is nothing but pure class for beer lovers. If you are a true beer lover you will recognise this beer as one of the best on the shelves its smooth but zesty taste just tingles on your tongue. I think Macs has really out done themselves with this beer it is my favourite. So when I just want a beer and its a hot summers day this is where I will head.
