I absolutely adore The Gypsy. Whether you are a Ponsonby socialite or a Grey Lynn local, this place is great for starting at for a good night out. The Gypsy has all the top shelf liquors and also skilled bartenders for a good cocktail. The wine list is extensive with a good apple cider on tap also, so don't be shy to give it a try.

Fantastic for a drink with the boys or for a vino with the girls wether you love sport or dont this place is perfect with a big screen and warm outdoor fire I call this place the perfect meeting place for catching up with friends or to start for a good night out

This spot is the perfect place to start a night out if in a Large group I suggest ordering a jug of Sangria Blood orange it goes a long way and taste’s great. If you are not a fan there is a large choice of alcohol to choose from.

I am a massive Macs Hop Rocker fan a good pilsner is like finding a needle in a hay stack. I never pass up the chance for a pint of hop rocker for all you beer lovers this is your haven.

I love the cherry beer here it is the reason I like going to this place and selection of different drinks to choose from make it very easy to leave here feeling a bit light headed but the food you order also is good I ordered the mussels in a broth which was served to me in hot pot they were delicious and also the kalamari, chips and salad you cant go wrong.

Always a good breakfast

Great coffee with lovely service the breakfasts are delicious with a great chef and not just that they're pet friendly there is always a fresh bowl of water for our hairy friends. On the weekends I love to stop here and am never disappointed by the classy look of the cafe with open spaces and lots of parking it's a great cafe to stop at for breakfast or brunch.

Now in Takapuna I originally loved the Freeman's Bay Cafe I thought it was amazing but the Takapuna has great atmosphere and coffee.

If you have not tried there pizzas than you have not lived! If you are a true Pizza Lover then this is were you wanna be If you want a pizza that is as big as your table i suggest trying the large sized pizza. Epolitos is an authentic New York styled pizzeria. The bases are made fresh everyday by the pizza chef which is a friend of mine who is originally from New York and has the accent to go with it. If you are someone who loves classic italian pizzas then try the margherita if not there are a lot more to choose from on the menu, if you are a more modern or something different kind of person I suggest trying the artichoke heart, Anchovy and lemon pizza it will blow your mind and give you a whole new look on how pizzas should taste and look.

The most Authentic Chinese dumplings for 10 bux and you get a choice of 10 different kinds and also not just dumplings chinese noodles and rice dishes with chinese green tea served always.

Good food for less than 15 bux always can rely on a good meal and see a few friends while you're there.

2 for 1 pizzas on a Wednesday are amazing check it out

Amazing thai food with a modern twist best pork belly and love how you share all the platters. Perfect for nights out with friends or just for a romantic dinner for two.

Loved the modern twist on Vietnamese food. The wait for a table is a little annoying but totally worth it. I had never had restaurant-style Vietnamese food till I went here for dinner with my partner and was totally blown away, hence it's one of my favourites

Seafood lovers dream restaurant

This is by far my favourite market, love the the country feel in the city. It is a lot bigger than most markets with an assortment of different foods and stalls from locals I loved it. If you have not been then put this on your to do list.
