The food here is good, my partner loves the Steak, I had a lamb burger and found the pattie a little bland and very dry which was a shame as the fries were very good. The bar service was very slow as the place was full and not enough staff on, the poor waitress was very rushed however still very pleasant.

    Standard macs pub, friendly and warm

      Meals were tasty. Bit disappointed they had run out of my first choice dish.

        Great place to catch up with people. Lots of space and very warm and welcoming. Ciders on tap!

          Pizza was incredible. Nice to have an original pizza with and original taste. I'm also a big fan of Mac's Gold and I also quite liked the Sunny Jim (if that's how you spell it) as a once off. Nice atmosphere with great staff. The old post house is my local Mac's.

            Sometimes it can get busy but mostly it's 'just right' and a nice place to spend a bit of time with friends yarning over a beer. Good wine list and a wide range of beers on tap.  The food is good but I haven't had a meal, just snacks and tapas.
