This has got to be the best bar in Ellerslie.  Always a fun night, great crowd too

    the beer on tap is great - such a selection and the  pizza is a great size and a bit too easy to eat ! Yumm!

      Have been there a couple of times including the night of the semis to watch the AB's Vs. Aus - the crowd was great the atmosphere thrilling. It's spacey enough with out losing the cozy. Nice big screen in front and screens all around as well as outside in the garden area. They serve the entire Mac's range on tap.

        Nice fit out and always a good crowd.

          Union Post strikes a good balance between cosy pub and upmarket bar.  It’s one the better bars in Ellerslie, offering a good range of tap beers as well as the usual suspects; wines, spirits, cider and friends. There is a good sized outdoor area for those smokers out there, and another smaller outdoor area out the back which is also quite nice. The bar is well-lit inside, without being too bright, and it always packed out on Friday and Saturday nights.
