Unity Books is a heaven on earth for book lovers, and lovers of beauty. They have books you'll not find anywhere else, wonderful first editions, all brand new. The staff are fabulous, the New Zealand book range is extrnsive. I am loving their new range of adult colouring books as well.

Unity books is where you'll find that hard-to-put-down read! Unlike the chain book stores this independent shop is full to the brim with alternative, interesting literary fiction and coffee table books. The staff at Unity Books are extremely knowledgable and always willing to offer a suggestion. If you're in the search of a unique novel or an elaborate book then Unity Books should be your first stop. A shop sure to inspire you and offer a range of reading material you couldn't have dreamt of!

Every available surface that might be able to hold a book is doing just that in this shop and honestly I have spend far too many hours of my life browsing and purchasing to my hearts content because really how could I not when everything on offer looks riveting.

This little store is packed with books on every surface, like my future dream house will be. I love the calm and quiet atmosphere that allows for endless wandering and turning your head in all directions to look at titles.

I LOVE this bookstore! I could lose hours in this place. It is also one of the best bookstores to get books for children. They have an interesting and varied range for kids. I often find books I’ve never seen or heard of here. Happy times!

I can happily spend hours in this shop, browsing through all the intriguing titles on display and rubbing shoulders with all the other like-minded bookworms that always fill the place.

For all of your book-geek needs head to Unity on High Street. You will love the huge selection and little gems here and will most likely spend hours just flicking through the pages of nice new books. Close to inner city parks so I’d suggest taking your new purchase into nature to get a bit more familiar with each other.

Unity Auckland on High Street has a well curated collection but more importantly they have very talented staff who can help find anything you are looking for and have it ordered in!

The day I discovered Unity Books was the day an already poor uni student fell deeper into the trap that is self inflicted poverty. I may not have been able to afford the latest trends but when you fall in love none of that superficial stuff matters. I am telling you now, you are going to fall in love with Unity Books. My favourite section and the one I make a B Line for is the aptly named shelf ‘Brain Stuff’, perfect for a knowledge thirsty twenty - something like myself. Just go.
