Great coffee with lovely service the breakfasts are delicious with a great chef and not just that they're pet friendly there is always a fresh bowl of water for our hairy friends. On the weekends I love to stop here and am never disappointed by the classy look of the cafe with open spaces and lots of parking it's a great cafe to stop at for breakfast or brunch.
Urban Cafe is a an awesome little place for weekend brunch, with a bustling atmosphere and good food. They offer a range of delicious Harney & Sons teas, which come in decent-sized pots, and you can can choose to sit inside or under cover outside. A great cafe to sit and read the paper or chat with friends.
Urban Café Newmarket is a space that invites busy people in from the urban hullabaloo and gives them plenty of reason to stay, with a great menu and special attention given to the nuts and bolts of what it takes to deliver a satisfying break away from the daily grind. Whether it be for a great breakfast, lunch or superb cup of AllPress Coffee made to your specifications, it will all be delivered speedily and with a smile. The simplicity of this light and airy space and its uncluttered lines reflects the ethos of the owner, Johno Evans, and carries through to the menu and the simple yet effective wine list. This is a great brunch cafe on Carlton Gore Road. The parking is usually pretty good on a Sunday morning and the cafe is half indoors and half covered balcony. I usually try to get the balcony seats if I can. I really dig their Chicken, Artichoke & Rocket sandwiches, which they usually lightly toast and serve with a bit of chutney. It’s a simple combination but works so damn well. I think part of it is to do with the excellent quality of Turkish bread they use.
