Goodness gracious, this is going to be massive. PROUD, the official closing celebration of the Auckland Pride Festival, is going to be the biggest GLBTI party of 2013! PROUD will be taking over the newly renovated Victoria Park Market complex – with indoor and outdoor bars, decks galore and internal staircases between four amazing dance floors – including the fabulous La Zeppa and Libertine bars, plus a never-before-seen industrial space. Hosted by Sydney’s DJ Kitty Glitter and supported by DJ Steven Oates, every turn will bring you in contact with another piece of eye and ear candy: burlesque showgirls, prima drag divas, an array of DJs to suit any musical taste. Do not miss out! This is Victoria Park Market like you have never seen it before – and queer partying on a lavish scale that Auckland hasn’t experienced in years! 23/02/2013

You will be amazed at the changes. it looks fantastic already! Can't wait til completion...

I have found amazing selection in New Zealand Souvenirs at Honey B Shop, including awesome wooden classic buzzy bee toy for baby gift. Gift for a friend who smokes - Coolest metal tin ash tray with lid and removable tray from Loft Living! Got some neat frames and birthday gifts from centre too! Including Valentines gift for my husband tea towel of rules to be the best Husband !!! Recommend Victoria Park Market to go to when looking for that special someone!

Really liked Victoria Park Market ever since I immigrated to New Zealand. Currently it's under renovation and I look forward to seeing the evolution of Vic Park! I think it's going to be really cool.

Meandered through this market just 2weeks ago  when I had an appointment in the area.  It seems to be going through some major rebuilding or renovating and a large section had disappeared surrounded by high fences.  However there was still plenty to see with shops, stalls and activities.  It was a week day so I know it doubles in size & action in the weekend.  Still great for Kiwiana, NZ gifts and souvenirs.

Victoria Park market has become a permanent flea market just outside the heart of town. You might not find every stall open during the week, but there’s usually enough to fend off boredom on an aimless lunch break. Come here on the weekend and you’ll be treated to the full array if colours and smells. You’ll find everything from astonishingly cheap ‘Gucci’ handbags through to hand carved bone and greenstone jewellery. Well worth a browse every now and then. Some of the store owners are even open to a little haggling if you’d like to test your skill…
