Wonderful large rooms at Rydges Hotel Rotorua. Very clean and classic rooms. Excellent menu at Rydges Atrium Restaurant. High level of service and food. My husband and I are from Auckland but married in Rotorua and had many guests stay here, which all raved about the generous room sizes and good service. Recommend staying at Rydges Hotel here in Rotorua.

Cosy Cottage International Holiday Park, is the best place to stay for a true Kiwi experience. Cosy Cottage Holiday Park offer camping sites or cottages to suit how you wish to holiday. The park offers thermal pools, bush and lake front walks. Trout Fishing and much more. Located behind the stunning government gardens, I highly recommend staying here.

This amazing house on the lake, Is the perfect holiday place to stay with a group of friends or large family. My bridesmaids and close family stayed here the week leading up to my wedding, then had extended family back for a lunch the day after our wedding. Was great place to enjoy the lake from, relax and entertain. Great spot to enjoy Auckland City. Silo Park has a fun playground, a neat water feature for kids and the adults to paddle their feet in on a hot summers day. Great view of the Viaduct Waterfront. Silo Park has night markets also. Love getting great food from the food trucks.

I have worked on high street and this has been my local lunch bar and by night I still enjoy evenings at Rakinos. I even had my first dance with my now husband at this bar! Recommend for good food and a good night out!
