You gotta love a Chinese restaurant that specialises only in veggie food, woop! The guys and girls at Welcome Vegetarian are also sympathetic to gluten intolerant peeps too. What’s not to love about this??

    For tasty Chinese food that isn’t going to give you an overdose of sodium or MSG, Welcome Vegetarian is just the place. Specialising in meat-free Chinese dishes, this place is certainly a favourite of mine. They even have vegan ice cream!

      Calling all vegetarians and vegans Welcome Vegetarian is the restaurant you've been crying out for! This restaurant caters to all non-meaters (and meat eaters who don't mind eating only veggies and tofu for a meal). There's not MSG in these meals and there are a range of gluten-free options. What's not to love about this fabulous animal-friendly restaurant?

        I have to love this again! Delicious, affordable and so much choice!

              Welcome is an unexpected delight!! Huge choice and all vege. An unassuming little shack on Riccarton Road, I’ve been here often when visiting ChCh and the selection is great, the portions are generous, the staff are friendly and the flavours are delicious. I can’t recommend it enough.
