Cheap, cheerful and GOOD food. Portions are enormous and you can easily share between two. BYO. Sometimes there is a wait for a table but it's worth it!

I love this place. Really reasonably priced and the food is delicious. The teriaki tofu is fantastic, I have it every time. Nice cosy restaurant. Small and intimate.

Great little cafe tucked away just off Upper Queen St. Great coffee and a range of delicious options for breakfast and lunch. You might pay a little more than your average sandwich bar but it’s really worth it. Sitting on the shady outside table is a lovely break on a hot summer day.

Good coffee spot in bustling Ponsonby Central. Busy and good for people watching.

Frasers is a nice relaxed little place in Mt Eden Village. Good brunch options, am going to go back and try the cakes!

This is great takeaway Thai. Delivered to your door and offer mobile eftpos as well. The website is easy to use and they have a huge range of vegetarian options too. Normally takes about 30 - 40 mins for delivery but is always good. They've now got a Mt Eden branch which is right on my doorstep - even better.

I really like this place. They have a great range of fabric and some unusual stuff that I haven't seen elsewhere. It's quality fabric and the staff give good advice too. Nice, clean shop which is a pleasure to browse in.

Big shop with lots of choice. You can always get a good range of patterns and they have pretty much everything you need. If you can't find it elsewhere, you'll probably find it here.

These guys are great! Fitted me in at short notice with no problem at all.  They kept in touch on time frames and were really reasonable for a last minute job.  The staff were professional and friendly too.  I would definitely recommend and will use again.

Bought my car here and decided to take it back for a service. They were very professional and the whole process is smooth running. They even picked up an issue that they felt should have been dealt with before I bought the car and offered to cover the payment. That's good honest service!

I love travelling out to Hallertau on a Sunday afternoon. They usually have a live duo playing fantastic blues music. Lovely to sit and listen with a glass of your favourite Hallertau beer or a wine. Beer tasting option is a must!

Great little place, not too far to travel. It's great to sit outside at the big table with some nibbles and a glass of wine. Will be back to try the lunch menu.

For a lovely wine tasting experience try Goldie. Welcoming staff and lovely to walk around the grounds after a spot of wine tasting. Looking forward to getting a chance to dine there as I'm told the food is great.

Great cheese platter! Yum. Huge seated area which is great in summer with a bit of live music. Wines are good too. If you are out that way it's a lovely place to stop.
