Been there since highschool awesome place to train #darkhorse

Or any swimming pool. Kids are free, you can even take your own food and drinks. hydroslide is an extra $2 that you need to pay on entry - the wristband then gives unlimited slides, although there’s usually a 5 min queue. Try Mount Albert if you’re not out west or the Parnell Pools in the summer if your kids are little (take a sun shelter tho)

Excellent place to go to work on your fitness or they have so many fun family activities from their wave pools to their recreation programmes.

A great way to spend the day, with slide action, a lazy river, and a hot spa for tired bones to relax in. A range of pools for all ages an capable life guards on duty. And at $7 entry fee for adults and free for those under 16, your pocket hardly notices!

I am a member and use both the gym and the pool for water walking, the staff are the friendliest and helpful people out. I love going to the facility most days. And there is one person that I must single out as a most warm and wonderful lady, I do not know her surname but I know her as Cindy and she looks after the green prescription folk just like me!!! Thank you darling, you are truly wonderful!!!

I've been coming to Westwave for 3 years now. It's a pretty low key place but the staff are lovely. Good equipment, well maintained and organized. The members changing rooms are good, but the public ones are a little depressing. As a member it's great to be able to use the pools, spa, sauna, gym areas and attend group fitness classes.

I took my daughter to West Wave on Saturday for the first time and she had so much fun. I was worried that she might not be very keen because she hasn't been near a pool since she was 3 months old (now 18 months) but she was really excited and had a ball! West Wave is really good for young kids because they have a few different shallow pools at different depths for them to play in and one, my daughters favourite, has a slide which she had fun climbing up and splashing into the water at the bottom! West Wave really is a great place to take kids too and adults too if you want to do some laps yourself, there is also a gym upstairs if you'd rather do a workout. I am planning to take my daughter to the pools every week if I can to help build her water confidence and West Wave is the perfect place to do it.

I have started to go to West Wave at least once a week for their aquarobics classes, and have been really enjoying them. The facilities at West Wave are great, with lots of different pools to cater for everybody, as well as spas, steam room and sauna. They do often have closures on different pools which can be disappointing - I took my niece who is a toddler last week, but the toddlers pool was completely empty, and they then closed the adult spa too, so it may pay to check the closures before you go.

First started coming here a few weeks ago, and quite like it. They have enough pools for lane swimming for those who want to train and get in shape. They also have the large wave pool where a machine creates artificial waves at intervals. Other facilities are the hydroslide, a spa and steam and sauna room. The place is kept clean and the changing rooms are well equipped with adequate showers and changing space. Only downside is the frequent closures particularly on the weekends which is annoying for those who work during the week.

If you want to get fit, this is the place for everyone. Great team events, friendly staff and cool parties to compliment a user friendly gym, pool and family center.
