Westpac has been part of New Zealand's history and growth as a nation since 1861. Starting out as The Bank of New South Wales, keen to stand out on their own (and maybe ditch the Aussie association) they changed the name to Westpac in 1982 and has since become a household name, with over 1.2 million customers, 200 branches nationwide and 500 ATMs and employer of over 5,500 staff.
They provide a full range of banking and financial services for personal, business and agribusiness banking as well as being the banker of the New Zealand Government.
