Yaruki Japanese Restaurant - Henderson

My family come here at least once a month. This is a very good Japanese restaurant, the best so far I've seen in West Auckland. We are always greeted warmly and with a nice smile by the same waitress who've perhaps worked there for years. A smile that seems she enjoys her job very much. Once you become a regular customer there, they always give you something free to bring home. There was one time I ordered green tea ice cream, and the waitress eagerly brought my ice cream and also served cookies 'n cream ice cream to everyone in our table. That in itself is an excellent way of treating customers!! I love it here!!!

Very pleasant service and good food.... 

This has got to be the best Japanese restaurant I have been to and it is right here in West Auckland. Not much to look at from the outside and the prices are very reasonable  but the quality of the food and the service is brilliant.  The first time I went there with a group of people they gave us all little gifts! I'm not sure if this was arranged by the group organiser, but it was delightful. 

I like Japanese food a lot. And I like to sample it a lot too. So while I've never been to Japan, I've tried my fair share of Japanese delicacies and I have my firm favourites. After a visit to Yaruki I have a new one!

I have been coming to this little Japanese restaurant in the main street of henderson for years & have watched it grow into something incredible.  You never had to make bookings to go here, now its a must (to avoid disappointment).

My partner & I have been coming here for over 3 years, the food is always of high standard - along with the customer service. Highly recommend to others - their miso soup is devine!!!!!

We have been going to Yaruki for about 5 years. Never fails to  please. Food and service is beyond excellent. Prices are great. The chef was apparently a top sushi chef in Japan before coming to New Zealand. Bookings are usually a must because its so popular!

I go to a lot of Japanese restaurants, but Yaruki in Henderson is still my favourite. Their bento boxes are fantastic with a great variety of food which is all really fresh and flavoursome and full of the delicate little touches that make Japanese food.
