Celebrated my 50th brithday at the Malthouse this weekend with friends (50 of us). Thanks to Alen, Kim, Stacey and all the staff at the Malthouse for making my day so great. The outdoor aera and seating made it a perfect day. I ordered a number of the large platters and pizza breads from the menu and all of my guests commented to say that the food was really good, tasty and that there was plenty of it. I've eaten at the Malthouse many times and they have a great menu. So if you have a small group or the large group of 50 the Malthouse is the place to go, you won't be disappointed. Donna Heki - What a preformer, musician and singer. Thank you Donna for keeping myself and my friends entertained on Saturday afternoon for 5 hours.  This lady is so talented, she plays the saxaphone (love the saxaphone) and the haronica and sings, and man can she sing. She sang a wide range of new and old music that kept us all listening and singing along for the afternoon, fantastic is all can say. If you are looking for someone to sing at a function you are having or if you are lucky enough to be somewhere where Donna is playing i'm sure you'll be as impressed as I was. In all a top day happy at the Malthouse, thanks to all my friends for coming along to make my day so special and to the Malthouse, thank you for having us all. Russell

Morgan's is new to Milford and it's great. There burgers are like the ones my mum used to make at home. You pick what meat (or veg option) you want and they cook it for you. You then go to the salad bar and add the extra fillings of your choice and you can add as much or as little as you like. They have a great range of sides to have with your burger and you can also have a drink with your meal. They have indoor & Outdoor seating and the staff are friendly and helpful to.

We did a pie day on pay day here at work this week to try the pie's at Gladstone Butchery. Greats pie's, full of flavour and meet and the pastry is oooohhhhh sssssooooo good to. You've got to stop in at gladstone Butchery and buy one. You won't regret it.

Great pub, friendly staff and supported by many of the locals

One of the newest pubs / places to eat in Glenfield on the North Shore. Stopped in on Sunday for brunch, they have a really mummy menu all at a reasonable price and an extensive beer and wine list also. Great place to just hang out with friends and chat with some really good food and a few drinks.The outside setting on the BIG deck is great on a sunny day with a sand pit for the kids to play in. If your looking for somewhere to hold a function there's a private room that can cater for about 100 people. Stop in and try the Postman Leg, I don't think you'll disappointed, I wasn't and I'll be back for sure.

Thank you to the team at DNA Housewash. I called them to ask for a quote to clean out gutters & apply a roof treatment on my house in Birkdale. The next day they arrived at my home, assessed what needed to be done and provided me with a quote (placed in my letterbox as I was not home) along with information about the many other services they provide. A few days later I called on a Friday to arrange for the work to be done, appointment was made for the following Tuesday and I arrived home to find the work done and that a great job had been done. Thank you DNA Housewash for the fast, efficient and great service provided - My House and I thank you. Russell

Dropped my old lawn mower off on a Saturday morning after calling them. It's been cleaned, fixed, serviced and returned to me before the quoted return date. Best of all they are just down the road from me in the same Street that I live in. Thanks for your speedy, efficient and excellent service.

Take my car here very 6 months for a warrant and a service. Speedy service, always ring me if there’s something that needs to be fixed, replaced or repaired. They have a great team onboard to look after your car and see you right

Stopped in here today as my car failed it's warrent at VTNZ next door for a stop light blub. Margaret had one of mechanic's onto it in no time. Sorted in 10 minitues and back to VTNZ for my warrent. Thanks North Shore Car Clinic.

I drop my father large Toyota Four wheel drive off to have it cleaned as dad hadn't cleaned it in awhile (inside & out). I left it with them for the day. What a surprise when I went back to pick it up. It looked like it had just come off the showroom floor. These guys are good, turely, real good. My dad had a tear in his eye when I gave it back to him.
