OMG the sage fried eggs

On a lazy Sunday morning, I love stuffing my face with Sweet Mother’s enormous breakfast burrito.

Two words - Gingerbread pancakes! Who knew they existed, but you won’t be able to think of anything else once you’ve tried them.

The team down at The Flight Coffee Hanger definitely know how to make a coffee and how to make you feel welcome. The best baristas in New Zealand and the best coffee in Wellington keep me coming back.

Fidels on Cuba are a haven for vegans especially in terms of baking. The blackberry, peach and chocolate muffins are amazing and animal product free. Wooo whoo!

The cafe for the nearby Peoples Coffee roastery you know you will get a really good latte here. The cheese scones are also awesome.

$4 bottomless coffee, this is the perfect place to sit in the window and watch the world go by.

Nothing like a cuppa joe and a crumpet.

Capitol is a classy establishment with beautiful meals and fantastic service.

Loving the new tasting menu, each plate a new taste sensation. It’s dim light interior is a great place for a date.

This may be my favourite place in Wellington, there is something really amazing about seeing wildlife in its natural habitat.

Traditional Mexican right here in Newtown! Get outta town. It’s delicious, it’s fresh, and the service is friendly. Love it!

This is the most authentic Malaysian you can get in Wellington. Keith and Tee, who run Little Penang are so lovely and once you become a regular they will often give little traditional treats to try.

I love spicy food and Pu Thai never tone it down for western eaters.

Once you go past the sweet and sour pork there is a lot of really traditional chinese food on offer at K C Cafe, chances are if you’ve never heard of it before it is going to be good!

Domo Sushi looks unassuming but it is the most authentic sushi you can get in Wellington and great value.
