With no pilates studios in the central city anymore, Pilates Personal is probably the closest to any one of the four avenues. There aren’t many mat classes available but it’s certainly a great studio suitable for all levels.

A really fancy pilates studio, Scoop is based in Ferrymead and has top of the range equipment and machines. The casual rate for mat classes is $20 so on the higher end compared to other studios in Christchurch.

A favourite pilates studio for those living in Nelson. A small studio which only fits a handful of students at a time, which is great for those who like a little bit of attention from their teacher. The space is warm, friendly and with loads of natural sunlight!

Probably the best place to get a coffee Port Chalmers. Serving ‘La Nubia’ coffee beans roasted and supplied by local Dunedin roastery Mazagran. A nice little selection of baked goods and toasties too.
