It’s a great place for a relaxed family picnic - grass, pohutukawa trees, rocks to walk over, a raft to swim out to.

You can learn a lot about the Royal NZ Navy History. Children of all ages love it - there’s even old uniforms to try on. There’s a playground out the front, a café right there & Torpedo Bay is lovely swimming too.

The historical tunnels are exciting to walk through. There’s a wonderful view of the harbour & Auckland City & Devonport village from the top.
