This is a great place to take your kid mountain biking, whether they are on your bike or cycling on their own, there are safe tracks for all. Also love the parking area as there is plenty of space for a picnic afterwards.

Great beach for letting the kids play and paddle in the sea with an awesome ice cream shop nearby, what more do you need!

Spent an hour paddling up the river in a kayak with my 4yr old son for his birthday, he loved it! A great experience and lots of fun, definitely worth buying some bread to feed the ducks.

This is a great way to spend about half a day (including a picnic) with the kids. Plenty for them to see and do, including feeding the animals and having pony rides.

You just can’t go wrong with a swimming pool to tire the kids out. Pioneer has a good sized pool with a separate pool for the class (great for reducing over crowding on Saturday and Sunday mornings!). It has a small lazy river and a wave machine which are always a hit with the kids.

Brilliant coffee and the food is good too!

It has a great pool for young kids to swim in and the learning pool for classes is good and kept separate from the main pool.

This is my local cafe, who make great coffee and have a good selection of sweet and savoury foods. they also have a lovely outside garden area and good parking at the rear.
