"The Cats PJ’s is somewhere I’ve expressed my love for before, and it is still just as strong. All donations are welcomed as it goes towards saving stray cats from being put down. They are huge believers in rescuing cats and trying to tame them so they can be rehomed, with it being such a huge problem in New Zealand they’re doing such an amazing thing!."

"The Salvation Army in Hawera is an oldie but a goodie, I’ve always had a personal bond with the Sally stores as grandmothers on both sides of my family worked there together! I used to visit when they were working at it was just a fun atmosphere. They have some nice stuff too, I once found an amazing little armchair that was only $30, it looked like a chair from the 1920’s!"

"Second Impressions is a large, almost warehouse, full of clothing located in the heart of Eltham, it’s one of their best assets when it comes to second hand clothing. As the title suggests, it wants to give you a second impression of the clothes they are selling, and they usually have them really well priced for what you’re getting!"
