Locally renowned for NZ history both European and Maori, prehistorically and internationally. It’s also unique not only to me and my immediate family, but extended as well. My deceased grandfather has been laid to rest here and his sculpture sits near the entrance of the Maori section on the righthand side named TE WARE RAWIRI.

Nice relaxing environment to be in, their smoking area is to die for fully equipped with heaters on cold winter’s season stunning views of the AOTEA SQUARE, closed off from rest of facility, really classy. Good fun for the kids as well, but if your just in for socialising amongst work colleagues, or time out from the kids then parents I would recommend this place.

For all who love animals, experience up close and personal for this place has all that and more, good facilities for hire if wanting to plan parties etc….etc Cool park, semi shaded. All animals and species enclosures they have on site are awesome. Good food as well.

Stunning place to dine in, awesome staff, very friendly, polite Food is to die for. Good environment to be in for a casual get away dinner from the kids, the outside offers warmth atmosphere as well as inside.

For parents who love fishing, this is another suggestion if you looking for a quick get away, awesome family orientated charter good rates, toilet on board, good deck hands on board if you struggle. Host offers tea and coffee, biscuits.
