be specialty (formerly Ben Espresso) was set up by award winning barista Ben Boyle and, in my not so humble opinion, serves the best damn coffee in New Zealand. This is the coffee bar I take my international visitors to when I need to show them good coffee. Sure there are nicer spots, with nicer views, but if you know your coffee and you demand the best, then this is where you go. The back shelf covered in awards will give you some idea, but your first sip will seal the deal.
