Blue Belle Cafe Wellington has the most amazing range and fresh pastry!

    Though island bay is a bit of a hike, the flaky delicious heaven that is the pies at Blue Belle make it entirely worthwhile. The vegetarian option (a spinach/feta number) is just as good as the meat varieties, of which the steak and mushroom would be my pick!

        Excellent pies that I remembered long after departing Wellington. Home made, delicious pies with no "dodgy stuff". I've put the famous "Snickers Pie" on my wishlist for when I return to the capital. Also highly rated by the locals are the brownies, pizzas and pancakes. Fabulous stuff.

          When I arrived to NZ 13 years ago, I was reluctant to try the famous Kiwi pies…wasn’t sure what I would find inside…I finally did one day when I found myself hungry in Island Bay…. I tried them at Blue Belle Cafe and loved them since then! Fresh, meaty, juicy… perfect size. Flavours are different and so unique! My favourite? Pepper Steak with Ale. Price is perfect too!!! Now it has become a MUST stop every time I got family and friends coming to visit.

            Too hard to choose which one to eat, they all look so amazing!

              Blue Belle have the best selection and tasting pies in wellington, and I eat alot of pies
