Bobby's fresh fish market couldn't be in a more perfect location for getting the freshest seafood in Tauranga if it tried.

Located on the wharf in downtown Tauranga the seafood comes straight off the boats into Bobby's shopfront. Fresh fillets, while snappers, mussels, crabs and crayfish are all piled high.

Best of all, if you can't wait to get home to cook it all then just order it fresh to takeaway to eat as your legs dangle over the side of the wharf.

        Best fish and Chips in Town! This place is great if you looking for good quality traditional fish and chips. Never disappoints:) The vege burger is really good as well!

          A must-do for both locals and visitors alike, this is the place to get fish and chips in Tauranga because not only is it right on the water, but you can also see the fish you are about to eat being plucked from the fishing boats as they dock into the wharf. Kids love the swooping seagulls and the energy as much as they enjoy top-quality fare. The locals usually dine in, rather than takeaway, because the meals are uniquely served on trays.

            Fresh fish, lightly battered, hot crispy chips, what more can we say !

              The first time I went to Bobby's was over 10 years ago with my Nana when she would take us out for Friday night fish and chips. Thankfully nothing has changed in all that time and the fish and chips are just as good now as they were back then. Definitely my go-to seafood takeaways whenever I'm back home.

                Family owned business, 90% family staffed. Bobby and his sister have had the place for a strong 16 years. All locally caught fish, find Bobby everyday in ‘his office’ - a BBQ table out the front, chatting with everyone who stops by.

                  The BEST Fish n Chip place in NZ. Everything is fresh and nice. I always go simple if I have a hangover feed. Couple bits of fish, a scoop of chips and some buttered bread. Nice to eat out on the wharf in the fresh air on a sunny day.
