Great food, perfect coffee and lovely atmosphere. Every time I go to Melba I have an enjoyable experience. The staff are always really friendly and helpful. The food is delicious, especially the Chicken salad. A little pricey but it is in the heart of Auckland CBD so it is expected. The coffee is beautiful every time, especially their mocha's are amazing and that's not usually my drink of choice.

Great customer service. Brilliant food and the best coffe in Auckland. Would recommend to all.

Morning coffees are the best here. Very good quality at reasonable prices. Great friendly staff too

Most amazing scrambled eggs!

This place is always buzzing with happy people enjoying their coffee and food. They have a quality menu selction and good coffee. Their cabinet food and sweets are not bad either, mostly office folk rushing off after kunch or just passers by as Vulcan lane itself is a cute place to hang out! Not a bad place to check into while shopping or roaming about in the city

Not enough room , too many people .But food is good .

I visit Cafe Melba quite frequently and its always great.  Good food, good coffee and the staff are always friendly

Have been to Cafe Melba in Ellerslie many times, the service in Vulcane lane is just as good (which means great) but food not quite as good. Great location and decor.

The cobbled St setting of the alley outside transports u to another place in the world. A Very happening vibe. Great food- ampley loaded for my hearty appetite & priced surprisingly well for such a hip place. Loved the experience. Will b back fir mo’

Stopped in over the weekend and only had time to grab a take away coffee and almond croissant and it was heavenly.  I would compare it easily with the fresh baked ones from La Cigale, I will be back soon even if I don't have an errand to run down town!
