One of my friends at high school wore a Crane Brother's suit to our school ball. Another of my friends recently got married wearing Crane Brother's threads. What did these guys have in common? They looked pretty dam suave. Crane Brother's is known as Auckland's premier tailor, the cuts are sleek and well fitted. The suits are rather pricey hence why I wasn't wearing one at my school ball but I'm pretty sure if the time comes I'll commit to the investment so I can look ridiculously dapper at the end of the aisle.

My favorite items to browse are the ties which come in a complimentary range of colours and textures such as wool, silk and wonderful 60's style knit. Shoes on offer are from Joseph Cheaney and Sons which are the pinnacle in hand crafted English shoes - the double monks in a rich walnut colour are a sight to behold.
Crane Brothers has long been the bastion of well tailored menswear in Auckland. It's so hard to find the simple stuff done well. So much clothing is ruined by tacky gimmicks. these guys get the simple stuff right. The place to go for a classic white shirt , a special pair of cufflinks. Just don't ask the manager if they sell hats . (he has a somehwat famous aversion to them!)
I met just about everyone who works at Crane Brothers during a recent suit purchase there, and found them all to be extremely knowledgeable about their products (and style in general), and very customer focussed. Their suits are of an exceptionally high quality, both in fabrics and tayloring (NZ made) and look great.
