When Leighton Dunlop started Espressoholic, he had no idea that he was to create a favourite late-night hangout for countless caffeine junkies - or that the cafe was going to help him find true love.

Sure enough, the cafe became an icon and when Majida Tooma bought the business from him about 10 years ago (he stayed on to manage) he found his future wife. Nowadays, they still serve the same fresh, locally sourced food that made Espressoholic an icon.

Be sure to visit Espressoholic for a nice, hot cuppa or indulge in one of their many cabinet treats on display. Psst, they're licensed too!

The mushroom and spinach omelette is definitely my favourite

    I really like the cozy feeling of the courtyard out the back - it’s nice and warm when it’s an overcast or rainy day and the heater is on out there.

        This place is amazing. Easily a popular favorite in Wellington. Competitive prices, great atmosphere & the best cappucino! Also loving the music.

          I posted before but it didn't post? Anyway this place is absolutely FAB! The staff and atmosphere are great and super friendly. Plus the food is delish too! Definitely recommend to anyone in the Wgtn area! :)

              You don't get better cabinet food in Wellington than at Espressoholic - especially if you're looking for something sweet. Their generously huge bowls of wedges are pretty good too! #cafetab
