My favorite place for asian food! For an authentic atmosphere this is really no frills with excellent tasting food at a really good price

Massive range of food, all easy on the wallet!

Nice :)

Food Alley is seriously great. Cheap, busy, heaps of choice. I particularly like the Malaysian and Thai places downstairs.

Bustling Food Alley boasts 15 kitchens sharing a common dining area. Food from all over Asia is on offer, and we recommend Kampung Delights Mie Goreng and the laksa from Malaysian Noodles is quite possibly the best in Auckland. Claypot Roast, offering roast duck and pork Chinese style, with rice and soup is also excellent, and the fully licensed bar makes delicious fresh juices.

Food alley is always bursting at the seams when I visit, with people were bustling about, and tables and seats in short supply. This is usually the case at any given lunchtime during the week, tables are scarce but staff are quick to clear tables once punters have eaten. It's not the sort of place you want to linger, as the ambience is of no note and it's tired and worn. But, alas, you don't go for the setting ... you go for the food. Great choice of Asian food, I've never been disappointed, and I've been there on a number of occasions. Reasonably priced, and not far from work, you can be super healthy with sushi or more indulgent with a tasty curry, Thai or Indian.

Superb :)

Definitely one to try! been here twice now, once paying full price and another on a  menu voucher. what I love is that even though paying by voucher, they didn’t let the standards slip. each dish was carefully crafted to look great aesthetically and tasted even better. I had been put off goats cheese from another place but sails had restored my faith lol! both visits have had very fond memories and needless to say I will definitely be back!
