This is a stunning beach. We were lucky to go on a day when it was pretty isolated and could appreciate it in all its glory!

    Stunning. Gorgeous. Breath-taking. These words don't even come close to describing how amazing this place is - it's got to be one of the prettiest beaches in New Zealand! Take the whole family or have a romantic day there with your partner.

      Probably my favorite beach. Be warned if you’re planning to visit there during the holiday period it’s going to be packed something crazy. The only access (by foot) to the famous Cathedral Cove and the heavily photographed sandstone archway which I might add can be seen in rapper Macklemore’s video ‘Can’t Hold Us’ video which he shot while on tour here last year.
