Everything abut this cafe is welcoming and very french! If you're craving a crepe or an authentic french macaroon L'Assiette is the place for you. The food here is divine and the coffee is much the same. This little french cafe, run by beautiful french people is a real treat!

    Was looking for an authentic French crepe, so I decided to check out this lovely little restaurant. I ordered the salted caramel crepe, which was served with vanilla bean ice cream. My crepe was absolutely delicious, with just the right amount of caramel. Each time I go back I can’t help but order it again!

      Not big on Macaroons but sweet mother of merlin their chocolate one is out of this world delicious. Plus they whip up a decent hot choccy. Will be back to check out the rest of their menu.

        L'Assiette's macaroons keep me going back for more! The coffee is great too.

          This place IS THE BEST. I absolutely LOVE the macaroons from here. They are so addictive. I've been going back for more for the past month. The staff as well, are so friendly. It's amazing.

            Open from early in the morning and into the evening, L'Assiette is a gorgeous little French cafe and bistro that does smooth and strong espresso and bakes exquisite pastries. My favourite morning kick-start is to get a pain au chocolat and this place does a very traditional, excellent version. A popular Britomart breakfast stop.

                    This is a little French inspired cafe downtown close to britomart. There are tables inside and out. there is a great french menu, and excellent coffee. the coffee and hot chocolates come with chocolate kisses which is flash and more exciting than the plain marshmellows. The service is good and the location is close to britomart public transport. The menu is not set and staff are happy to change items a little to make the item suit you. I got a great big breakfast with poached eggs and holidaise sauce to make it the best of both dishes. There is no kids menu but there are lots of sides to make a small portion for younger or smaller eaters. food is very well presented on the plate.
