There are Little India restaurants peppered across Wellington City, and this dining institution has earned its excellent reputation over many years of serving Wellingtonians. The service is always flawless and the food consistently good over the five years I’ve been dining there. The chana masala is a must-have.
Pick any given lunch time and you’ll probably find me and my pal Daniel in the front window of Little India. The ‘little special’ for lunch is tired and true and the garlic naan is always so darn garlicky (in a good way). They’re not afraid to turn up the spice-o-meter either so be careful if you ask for hot!
Even moving into spring, Wellington is unfortunately blessed with cool crisp nights. Nothing helps to warm up a chilly evening than a nice steaming hot curry. Little India provides an endless array of mouth watering spice-filled dishes for take away or eat in. The staff are effortlessly friendly, and the food leaves nothing to complain about.
