Definitely the best Indian in Wellington! Love that it's BYO too

Widely regarded as Wellington's best indian restaurant, the service at Little india is exceedingly friendly. A warming curry and naan simply cannot be beaten on a cold night, especially paired with a soundtrack to match the cuisine. You'll feel like you are somewhere with a much friendlier climate!

Best Indian restaurant in Wellington in my opinion! Their chicken kadai is to die for, and such good value - especially as it's BYO.

There are Little India restaurants peppered across Wellington City, and this dining institution has earned its excellent reputation over many years of serving Wellingtonians. The service is always flawless and the food consistently good over the five years I’ve been dining there. The chana masala is a must-have.

Little India on Cuba Mall offers excellent and fairly reasonably priced Indian food for BYO groups big and small. Its close proximity to Matterhorn and Mighty Mighty means you’re on the doorstep of Wellington’s best nightlife, too.

Pick any given lunch time and you’ll probably find me and my pal Daniel in the front window of Little India. The ‘little special’ for lunch is tired and true and the garlic naan is always so darn garlicky (in a good way). They’re not afraid to turn up the spice-o-meter either so be careful if you ask for hot!

Even moving into spring, Wellington is unfortunately blessed with cool crisp nights. Nothing helps to warm up a chilly evening than a nice steaming hot curry. Little India provides an endless array of mouth watering spice-filled dishes for take away or eat in. The staff are effortlessly friendly, and the food leaves nothing to complain about.

Butter chicken to die for. Don’t get me started on the korma
