Even though Logan Brown is a Wellington restaurant and bar, well known for its consistently high standards, we continue to strive for excellence. Not just in the food and service we deliver, but also in the way we contribute to, and participate in, our community.

What creates great food is more than its physical ingredients; it's the integrity and passion from the team that add an intangible magic. At Logan Brown everything you are served comes from a genuine desire to ensure guests have a special dining experience no matter the occasion.

Celebrate the end of the week with oysters and bubbles at Logan Brown's pop up oyster bar!
Head down this Friday, head chef Shaun Clouston will be in the bar shucking oysters to order.
Available 'au naturel' with our house mignonette or enjoy them fried, with a fennel and sesame crumb and Logan Brown tartare. Every week oysters are matched with a specially selected wine or beer.

A favourite haunt of politicians, foodies and influencers, Logan Brown is out of many diners’ price range for anything other than a special occasion. But at just $35 per person for two courses, its lunchtime bistro menu is a delicious and affordable indulgence. Check loganbrown.co.nz for an up-to-date menu.

As you’d hope they would have, the almost but not quite high class hoity toity-ness of ol’ LB continues right through to their elegant ****.

From the moment the name Logan Brown leaves someone’s lips it oozes class and sends little dollar signs running around the brain. In Wellington, this is possibly the crème de la crème of posh eats. Well known for its fabulous steaks and impeccable food, it is definitely the place to go to treat yourself to not only magnificent food but the whole fine dining experience.

Amazing Food, awesome atmosphere, great wine list and service - fantastic for a special occasion

Great food and service in warm friendly surroundings

Supreme winner of the Cuisine Restaurant of the Year in 2009, Logan Brown is a total Wellington institution. It made Al Brown – now a celebrity chef with his own TV shows – famous, and it’s the foundation of his philosophy of using incredible ingredients and cooking them really well; simply, but well. The menu is pretty confusing – they do an a la carte dinner six nights a week, and none on  Saturday, where they do a degustation sitting at 8pm. They do a bistro lunch menu Tuesday through to Saturday, and then a high tea Tuesday to Saturday as well. If you’re after a full experience of Al Brown’s brand, the degustation is highly recommended. Oh, and not one to leave the kids out, Brown also does a 'junior foodies' menu – brilliant.

Lovely service, delicious food and wine - would say tables are a bit close though….

Amazing birthday dinner - amazing food in an amazing building

Great place for a celebration - I really enjoyed their high tea selection. Reasonably priced for the quality of the food but not for those on a budget!
