Mac's Brew Bar is where you will find most of the locals on a hot summers day, lazing about on the outdoor seating and watching the crocodile bikers block their view of the gorgeous ocean.
Inside you will find seating for many, along with their unique upside down lamps hovering over the main bar, the exposed brick, retro wallpaper and décor - it all comes together to make it feel like home.
Mac's Brew Bar has been renovated from it's former days when it was a lonely brewery, but is now a place where everyone is welcome (including functions!).
Every year on Labour Weekend, swing dancers from all over the world descend on Wellington to dance all over the city. This year it's gone full rockstar with the Windy Lindy 2015 Hard Rock Stadium Tour - and they have a few surprises in store! So on Saturday night, put on your best stage personas and paint the town! With the cities very own The Wellington City Shake-'Em-On-Downers and International Swing Sensation Hetty Kate all the way from Australia you'll be headbanging, moshing and straight up swing dancing the night away like the rock n roll legends you are. You don't have to be a dancer to attend - but if you want a damn good show, and a boogie to the amazing bands, get your tickets, tell your friends and get ready to rock! Doors open at 8pm. R.18 and tickets cost $60, which include supper.

Mac's Brewbar has been a Wellington waterfront icon for more years than I can count. I think that they must have some sort of "magnetic sunshine pull" over Wellingtonians, because as soon as that sun peeks through the clouds, BOOM, their outdoor tables are full. Relax with one of their freshly brewed beers and meals which compliment the drinks.
