Mitre 10 Mega Henderson

Very very friendly and helpful and great advise. They also provide great service you they cut some wood to size for a shelf we were building, and did a great job.

Of course, Mitre 10 Mega has everything you could want in DIY gear.  BUT it also has a great cafe, a big garden centre, kids play area, bulk building materials, kitchens, bathrooms,  homewares, camping gear, barbecues, outdoor furniture and more besides. The staff are plentiful, friendly and very knowledgable - they'll listen to what you want to do, work out what you need and sort you out.  No-one's interested in upselling you - they just want to get you what  you need.  Also the staff aren't in your face, if you don't want help they'll leave you alone, but there's always an expert just there when you want to know something.  They're open 7-7 most days and of course, they do flybuys.  You won't be disappointed.  Top tip - if you go on the weekend, take a couple of bucks with you - there's usually a sausage sizzle going on outside :)

My Husband gets lost in this store, cannot get him out. At least I am happy as he picks up items for all his DIY projects around the house. I have the excuse too to disappear into the garden Centre part of Mitre 10 Thank you for your professional store, love the place and all your helpful staff!

This store is BIG like in the add's.  We often come out here for a stock up on household hardware things we need.  Or bigger items we might be in the market for like outdoor furniture, lawnmowers, garden supplies.. you name it they have it. Whether its a hot waterbottle or home dehumidifier, can of crc or gumboots, a ladder or new drill. You name it they'll have it and for a very good price.  This is a first stop shop for us for a lot of our hardware household needs. Parking is great too.
