Pranah aims to restore a natural vital harmony with wholesome non-processed vegetarian food. What and where we eat influences to a large degree how we feel and indirectly how we think and act. with the right food and a conducive eating environment our natural vital harmony may be maintained and our mind left free for greater endevours. As the worlds demand for coffee grows so too does the need to supply. In today's economic system however, this can unfortunately mean unnatural growing conditions and exploitation of third world growers to maximise private profit. We here at Pranah are doing what we can by supplying locally roasted Fairtrade Coffee, ensuring everybody gets a better deal. Through sustainable practices such as reducing, reusing, recycling, composting and monitoring energy efficiency, Pranah lessens the environmental footprint on its mission. If in Newtown go find Pranah, serving up delicious vegetarian food, with salads great savory cabinet food and a killer little menu as well. I usually go for the vege samosa here, otherwise there are always great other bits as well. All made on site and all delicious. If you’re near or around Newtown I would totally recommend for a healthy meal.
In the heart of Newtown, Pranah supplies some great vegetarian and vegan options. A homely vibe will greet you and the cabinet food and menu are great. A good spot for lunch and one that I visit on the regular. Lunch here is something that can please everyone, I usually go for the vege samosa its cheap and really filling but all the cabinet food looks amazing and its usually a well thought out decision on what to get!
In Newtown Prannah is a place of excellent vegetarian delights. The Samosa here is what I’ve been getting recently, though the rest of the cabinet is full of excellent looking food. The baklava here is also really great, go along and check it out its one of Newtown’s best lunch spots, and you're sure to find something that tastes delicious!
When I lived in Newtown for a year, Pranah Vegetarian Cafe used to be my go-to destination after my weekly trip to the vegetable market on Saturday mornings. It’s a small cafe, which means it feels like you’re onto a good thing if you manage to snag a table, and they always have the weekend paper for you to hole up with. The cabinet food is reasonably priced and delicious, but be sure to check out their eggs menu, only available on the weekend.
