For those feeling a little fancy, Pravda offers lavish, european bistro-style dining just off Customhouse Quay. The warming winter menu includes decadent chocolate truffle figs, and Pappardelle with duck, hazlenut and Valdeon cheese crumble. Not to mention the consistently great service, and amazing cheese platter.

Great place for lunch or an after work beer…becks on tap

The speed with which Pravda’s cheese scones sell put the proverbial hot cakes to shame: ready to go in brown paper bags before 9am, they’re often sold out by noon. They’re so popular, Pravda’s pastry chef often shares his scone secrets at workshops during Wellington On A Plate – tickets to which also sell out.

Amazing food, wine and lovely service. Highly recommend

Feeling a little bit posh whenever I walk into Pravda but I'm all about the scones. They make some of the best cheese scones ever and so while I walk in a bit dreary on a Monday morning, I cannot resist but add one of their cheesy goods to my coffee order.

A great place to kick back and enjoy a glass of wine after work.

High class atmosphere in central Wellington
