If you want coffee or a nice meal and you want it in a funky setting surrounded by expressive artwork and dodgy people, then Revel is the place for you. Good times. 

    I love this place, a great neighborhood find. It's nice to just sip on coffee while reading your latest novel on a Saturday afternoon. Feels like you're in a friend's living room. Nice menu. I haven't had their dinner yet since they started offering the new menu. Worth the trip and if you're looking for something a little less hectic from the bustling Mission. Friendly staff. The owner treated me and a friend to macaroons on the house when he found out it was my bday weekend.

      Excellent coffee, interesting characters and yum food… What more do you need?

        Revel has wholesome food and great vegetarian options. Tasty with homely atmosphere. The old school space invaders machine is a pleasant distraction while waiting on your meals. Sunny street side seating in the morning.

          There's always great vegetarian options here and the cakes are my favourite. 

            Pro: Good food, long opening hours, chilled atmosphere Con: Can't think of anything! What an awesome haven so close to the city! I loved the chilled alternative atmosphere of the cafe as well as the awesome food options. Coffee was superb and so was the slice which I had with it. Thank you so much for the late opening hours - that's exactly what it should be like for a cafe!!

              My favourite cafe! I love the unique atmosphere, the mis-matched plates and cups, and the retro Ozma Wars arcade game built into one of the corner tables. I love the fact they are fair trade, free range and have great vegetarian and vegan options. Its always so hard to decide between the sweet treats on offer, the choc mint slice is amazing!

                I love this place! The first time I went and tried their eggs and mushroom on toast, I was hooked. The second I went back I wanted to verify that I wasn't just famished that first time (which makes the food taste better than it really is usually...), and yes it was still divine! Plus you get to place on the retro spacy's machine while you wait - other wise there is usually something new to notice every time

                  Mismatched crockery and furniture, feel-good vibe, witty staff, handy location and good food. I like it. Bit rough around the edges, but that's part of its charm.

                    i used to own a cafe down from Geoffs... i hope you still remembers me (Janine at Brix)...came in last month for a few drinks and  you still have it hun! Great place great vibe BIG LOVE j9
