Revel Cafe

Revel has a great laid-back atmosphere, personable staff, good food and most importantly the best coffee in Auckland. I’m talking about the kind of coffee that tastes fantastic and will have you buzzing all day. I have never been disappointed with a Revel coffee. Not only that, they’re also served in cute retro mismatched cups and saucers and I always reckon that coffee tastes better in a good cup!

Revel is K'Road to a tee. The owner (Jeff) walks the ethical talk when it comes to recycling, composting, fair trade, & organic products, plus they make an effort to cater to gluten-free and vegan diets. Cozy tables inside, perfectly positioned late-afternoon-K-Rd-sun-tables on the outside... gotta love it. This is an awesome coffee spot on K rd, with a chance for some great hipster spotting. Their slices are amazing (I had a piece of chocolate and beetroot cake recently... delish) and they do great coffee. Unlike some Indie coffee shops the service is actually really good - they are always friendly and have yet to mess up my order. Best of all is the awesome shop interiors... very colourful and eclectic. 

We’ve been here a few times for breakfast and coffee. The staff are friendly and they definitely cater to different tastes and allergies. I think their menu is clever and unique however some of the dishes leave my mouth feeling a bit dry. Very quirky decor, Lots of fun but could work a bit more on the sauces and dressings.

My friends and I went to Revel last night and I loved it. The guys serving were hilarious, the place was so busy people were spilling out on to K Road and finding the old skool computer game a part of one of the tables, topped it off.  A great evening. I can't wait to go back!  

Awesome food,great service . Great selection of slices sweet food e.g vegan slices. Good relaxed atmostphere.

Great food,great service and caters to my vegan dietary needs. My favourite dish is compote and the vegan slices are just amazing. Read the random stories on the magnet boards, they are awesome.

The food is great, the place is funky.. .the only complaint I have is that I can never get in because it's always full and busy... the locals sure know they have a gem here. Keep it up!  Hope to get back in there soon :)  

This palce has the best peanut butter pie you have ever tasted. Not to mention all the other vegan cakes and yummies they offer. They also have all sorts of goodies for those of you flesh lovers. The atmosphere is really wonderful and the barristers will sometimes perform feats of agility if your eyes are keen. This is the best place to be if its a warm morning on K rd. Get your butt out there because these guys know how to cater for the late-morning coffee bum.

Great food, great coffee, a fun place to hang out. 4 coopers and garlic bread for 20 bucks wahoo.
