I love Scratch Bakers at Easter for their delicious hot cross buns. They are delectable and downright tasty. In fact, I kinda like to go there every day before the long weekend to indulge in a fresh one. I also love to order a strong and smooth Three Beans brew as it's the ideal way to wash these puppies down.

Everything the delights are wonderful they never disappoint thanks Scratch.

Scratch Bakers is a must-visit if you're in the mood for a treat, they have some of the freshest and most delicious baking in the city. Among their impressive list of delights is their amazing doughnuts and the flavours list is pretty impressive including the likes of lemon curd, kiwifruit, cherry vanilla and cranberry. I love the chocolate espresso doughnut although it has quite a caffeine kick so go for the mini version if you want to try its tastiness but don't want the kick in the pants. Scratch is a CBD doughnut heaven and worth multiple visits.

Scratch Bakers has a wide range of tasty pies on offer. I have only tried their Confit Duck, potato and wild mushroom pie, which was amazing but I am definitely keen to try one of their other interesting pies.

Scratch Bakers have been stocking some of Auckland's best cafes with delicious treats for a while now, but it's only been in the last couple weeks they've claimed a storefront of their own. Housed in the new City Works Depot complex, this little spot have about 30-odd reasons for you to keep coming back - everything looks so good! The quality of the food is fantastic, same goes for the coffee.

Have you ever wondered where Toru and Teed Street Larder get their superb baking from? Scratch Bakers are the source and now you too can go straight to it. They have opened a small but perfectly formed cafe in the City Works Depot and you can sit down to mouth watering fish korma or braised goat, harissa and yoghurt pies and follow up with a ginger creme brulee tart or twisted cinnamon dusted churro among many other sweet and savoury delights. They serve malty Three Beans Espresso and the decor is raw industrial in keeping with the rest of CWD but warmed up by a red painted wall.
