It is obvious that everyone knows Sushi Bi when it comes to the lunch time sushi trade. The line for their delicious healthy fare is always out the door.
You cannot go wrong with all your sushi favourites, they even offer a few 'fusion' flavours for the western eaters like smoked salmon and cream cheese. At $1 a piece it's the best value in town, even more so after 4pm when all sushi is half price. It makes it worth the wait.

Sushi Bi sushi is so incredibly delicious that it is hard for me to even walk past. They do half priced sushi from 4pm, but be quick because there is always a line. The best part is, they don’t have pre-made trays, you choose your own pieces and make up your own tray, which is especially exciting. Love the tempura options, they are always excellent.
The first time you walk down Woodward Street you wonder why people are queuing outside all the doorways. It doesn't take long to realise that Woodward St hides some of the best lunchtime takeaway spots in Wellington. Sushi Bi is no exception and if you go between 11.30 - 1.30pm you will have to queue, but it's worth it. Grab you sushi box, pick and mix as you fill it up, don't forget your free wasabi, ginger and soy sauce, and then grab the loyalty card because you will definitely be back.
If you are a fan of the the delicious rice and filling wrapped in seaweed, this is the place to do. Each piece has been crafted with care and is mouthwatering-ly good. One of the greatest things about Sushi is, that as a takeaway option it sits on the healthier side of things. Sushi Bi is well known for its half price sushi after 4pm, though I recommend lining up at 3.50!
