Ahhh hello fish burger.  Here I was thinking you could not get better than the breakfasts at Taka Café, I was very, very wrong. Lunch is my new thing from here on in when visiting the best café in Auckland  

    Apart from the fact that this cafe is one of the very best in Auckland, they take things to the next level by providing three drink stations for your doggie companions. And then they go even further and have them at three height levels so your pooch can drink with ease no matter how tall or short their legs.  Surely they have to be the most pet-friendly cafe in Auckland.... even New Zealand? 

      Certainly not cheap, I’ll admit, but you really do get what you pay for here and it’s in the details. First off, let’s talk about the big things: the food is excellent. A great selection of fresh, flavour-filled dishes, from excellent burgers to gelato and from the health-conscious to the deliciously moreish! The setting is beautiful, right on the Takapuna Beachfront. The glass walls slide open on hot days or you can lounge on the huge veranda and soak up the stretching beach views.

        Everything is great about this place - the food, the service and the view. Visit the beach and then pop in for a snack and coffee - what more could you ask for.

          Can you beat a walk along Takapuna beach on a summers morning and then a great breakfast at this cafe? I don't think so. A great way to start the day!

              Came here with girlfriends for a leisurely lunch The food was delicious with perfect portion sizing. The menu is quite varied and has lots of vegetarian options. The smoothies and juices are also delicious! If you come here, take your time and then go for a wander along the beach or through Takapuna. A fantastic way to spend an afternoon.

                  The Honeycomb, choclate honeycomb, choclate and vanilla flavours are all great and they do alot more which i havnt tryed yet :)

                    I love to take a walk or run in the morning along Taka beach and end it here for a juice and then a coffee. Occasionally I have a breakfast here too and it is always good. A perfect way to start the day with views to die for. Never been disappointed here.
