Love everything about this place. The service is amazing and the food is to die for. Rachel always makes sure that her clientele are well looked and happy and your greeted by literally all the staff when you walk in the door

    If you love Japanese food, Takara Japanese Restaurant is the place you'll never one to miss. Awesome food, ambience and staff are not only knowledgeable but very friendly too.

        Amazing Japanese food right on Tauranga’s waterfront! An amazing place to sit and relax in the summer sun with a beer and endamame.

            You can't miss it, on the corner of the popular 'Strand' which runs along Tauranga's waterfront. This place is ALWAYS busy so I'd suggest you book ahead. Super good and probably one of the more authentic Japanese restaurants I've been to.

                I always say I'm going to try everything on the menu but I always end up getting my favorite, Chicken Katsu Bento Box with a roll of Chicken Sushi
